Applications for ESSAlcoitão’s bachelor’s degree programmes open this Friday
The first stage of the Institutional Admissions Process will take place from 17 to 24 July for the Bachelor’s degree programmes in Physiotherapy, Speech and Language Therapy, and Occupational Therapy.
The application period for the first stage of the Institutional Entrance Examination for Undergraduate Degrees at the Escola Superior de Saúde do Alcoitão begins this Friday, 17 July. The deadline, originally set for 23 July, has been extended to 24 July 2026, following an adjustment to the timetable for the National Final Examinations.
For the 2026/2027 academic year, ESSAlcoitão is offering 60 places on the Bachelor’s Degree in Physiotherapy, 30 on the Bachelor’s Degree in Speech Therapy and 30 on the Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Therapy. Applications must be submitted online via the School’s platform.
Applicants must hold a secondary school qualification, or a legally equivalent qualification, and must have sat, in 2026 or in the four preceding years, the national examinations corresponding to the entrance exams required by ESSAlcoitão, achieving a minimum mark of 95 points.
