The Classic Lottery marked Grandparents’ Day with a Special Draw
On Tuesday 28 July, Santa Casa celebrated Grandparents’ Day with a Special Draw of the Classic Lottery, dedicated to honouring the love, wisdom and generosity with which grandparents shape so many family stories.
The session took place, as usual, in the Draw Room, and was broadcast live on RTP 1’s “Praça da Alegria” programme, presented by Isabel Angelino.
There was no shortage of music either, this time provided by the sweet voice of Carolina de Deus, whose heartfelt performance was met with enthusiastic response from the audience, particularly the younger members.
In attendance were the institution’s Provedor, Paulo Sousa, and the directors Ângela Guerra, Clara Carneiro Veríssimo, André Brandão de Almeida, Rui Garcês and Luís Rego. Ricardo Lavos, Director-General of the Gaming Department, was also in attendance and, in an interview with “Praça da Alegria”, praised the emotional and stabilising role of grandparents within families.
In this 30th Special Classic Lottery draw, the winning numbers were:
