A recently restored 17th-century building, the former Palácio de São Roque / Portugal da Gama publicly displays the Asian art collection that Francisco Capelo assembled over more than 20 years.
On the edge of the Bairro Alto, this palatial civil architecture building features unique spaces such as the atrium, the stone staircase and the decorative paintings on the walls and ceilings, and includes an auditorium on the top floor.
