Fundo Rainha D. Leonor

Created by Santa Casa da Misericórdia de Lisboa and União das Misericórdias Portuguesas (UMP), the Fundo Rainha D. Leonor (FRDL) supports Misericórdias across the country in priority and innovative social causes, contributing to the strengthening of the social and welfare role of these institutions.

The fund is aimed at intervention in social action projects and at the restoration of the historical heritage of the Misericórdias, which is often relegated to the background given the urgency of social needs.

The mission of the Fundo Rainha D. Leonor reflects the conviction that good causes must transcend the boundaries of the capital, extending support to institutions from north to south of the country that work daily for those most in need.
