Obra Social do Pousal

Accommodation and residential support, permanent or temporary, for people with neurodevelopmental disorders and associated intellectual disability, in situations of social and economic vulnerability.

The model of care is person-centred, fostering autonomy, participation, self-determination and well-being.

• Aged between 18 and 64;
• Medical diagnosis within the group of Neurodevelopmental Disorders (with associated Intellectual Disability);
• Resident in the city of Lisbon;
• Inability to engage in productive activity;
• No psychiatric illness.

Applications for admission may be submitted institutionally, by relatives or by friends of the applicant.

Following the analysis of the application (consisting of a set of documents), the person is asked to attend Obra Social do Pousal for a multidisciplinary assessment. If the team's decision is that the applicant meets the criteria for admission, they will be placed on a waiting list until admitted in accordance with available places.
