Classic Lottery and Lura concert mark Santa Casa’s anniversary
Sala de Extrações will be hosting two special events this Thursday, 2 July. Come and watch!

Santa Casa da Misericórdia de Lisboa is preparing to mark 528 years of history, and the celebrations will take place in the Sala de Extrações on Thursday 2 July, featuring two special events.
The first is the draw for the Santa Casa da Misericórdia de Lisboa’s 528th Anniversary Classic Lottery, starting at 4 pm. Dedicated specifically to the institution’s anniversary, this lottery – whose first prize is worth 600,000 euros – emphasises the link between tradition and solidarity through the slogan “May your luck be historic”.
The oldest lottery run by the Misericórdia de Lisboa, established in 1783, continues, year after year, to contribute to good causes in areas as diverse as health, education, culture, sport and social innovation.
The second highlight takes place from 4.30 pm, when the artist Lura takes to the stage to perform the best of her music, inspired by her Cape Verdean roots. Her unmistakable voice, when performed live, infects everyone with her energy, blurring the boundaries between Portugal and Cape Verde. Come and watch!
