Misericórdia de Lisboa held a new public auction
As part of the Misericórdia de Lisboa Restructuring Plan, the session resulted in the sale of six non-strategic properties, spread across the municipalities of Lisbon, Sintra, Almada and Seixal, worth over 15 million euros

On Thursday 9 July, Santa Casa da Misericórdia de Lisboa held held another public property auction, raising around 15 million euros, as part of the strategic measure to dispose of real estate assets and non-material shareholdings, as set out in the institution’s Restructuring Plan.
At this session, which took place in the Sala de Extrações, six of the eight properties put up for auction attracted 23 bids and were sold for a total of €15,032,968. Two of the properties received no bids.
It is notedthat the implementation of this measure will enable Santa Casa to generate returns on its assets through strategic management focused on efficiency and rationality, making a fundamental contribution to the recovery of the Santa Casa da Misericórdia de Lisboa’s assets, as well as to strengthening its services in the areas of health and social care.
