The 1st ‘Lisbon Alive’ Meeting represents an important milestone in the consolidation and development of the ‘Lisbon Alive for All Ages’ Programme, establishing itself as a special occasion for sharing, reflection and celebration. As part of the celebrations for Older People’s Month, this event reinforces the City’s Compromisso to develop a shared vision for the challenges of longevity and ageing.
This meeting marks a new stage of maturity for the Programme, through the approval of the Addendum to the Programme’s Cooperation Protocol and the Letter of Compromisso for the City of Lisbon’s Social RADAR. These milestones symbolise the strengthening of collaboration between strategic partners to make Lisbon a more cohesive, inclusive city, suited to all generations.
Throughout the day, there will be conferences and themed panels dedicated to presenting emerging challenges, sharing experiences and best practices developed within the framework of the KORALE* Lisbon with Life Community of Practice, promoting dialogue between public and private bodies, social sector organisations, academia and the wider community.
*KORALE is an Interreg Europe project, co-funded by the European Union.
