A session on the theme ‘The Best of Summer in Safety’.
This Café Memória session will be led by Nurse Diana Costa, from the Patient Safety Unit.
The aim is to encourage reflection and the sharing of experiences regarding the essential care needed to enjoy the summer in good health and wellbeing. Through an informal and interactive discussion, topics such as the importance of staying hydrated, choosing a suitable diet for hot days, precautions to take regarding sun exposure, and strategies to prevent the effects of the heat will be covered. Drawing on participants’ memories, habits and experiences, the aim is to reinforce knowledge and encourage behaviours that enable everyone to make the most of this season in a safe, healthy and enjoyable way.
