During May 2025, the Museum of São Roque organized The Elected Work, a participatory initiative that invited the public to select their favorite piece from a group of 20 iconic objects from the Treasury of the Chapel of St John the Baptist. The initiative was met with great enthusiasm and engagement from visitors. Recognizing the importance and success of this vote, the Museum has dedicated 2026 to organizing activities that highlight this and other selections from the Treasury of the Chapel of St John the Baptist. The next edition will focus on the relics of the São Roque Collection, inviting visitors to discover, appreciate and choose the object that most moves and represents them.
