Santa Casa is offering 1 million euros in funding. Applications must be submitted by 30 April.
Santa Casa da Misericórdia de Lisboa (SCML) has launched the SANTA CASA 2026 SOLIDARITY FUND to provide immediate support to Misericórdias and Mediadores dos Jogos Sociais do Estado across the country that have suffered damage as a result of the storms that have ravaged Portugal in recent weeks. The Fund amounts to 1 million euros, is non-repayable, and may be increased depending on requirements. Applications are open until 30 April.
Interested Misericórdias and Mediators should consult the Regulations of the SANTA CASA 2026 SOLIDARITY FUND and complete the relevant application form. For further information, please contact SCML at fundo.solidario@scml.pt or by telephone on 217 128 400.
Santa Casa’s support is also demonstrated through a financial donation of 100,000 euros to Cáritas Portuguesa, an organisation that operates nationwide and is directly involved in the emergency response on the ground.
SCML has been coordinating this support in conjunction with the Portuguese Government’s Mission Structure.
