Volunteering: “Give More of Yourself” at the Museu de São Roque and Wonderland Lisbon
A new campaign aims to recruit volunteers to make a difference in two short-term initiatives due to take place over the coming weeks.
Santa Casa da Misericórdia de Lisboa promotes volunteering in a range of areas and is now launching its new campaign, “Give More of Yourself!”, which aims to recruit volunteers for two separate, short-term activities due to take place over the coming weeks.
The first relates to the exhibition “Vestir o sagrado – As casulas do Tesouro Nacional da Capela de São João Batista” (Dressing the Sacred – The Chasubles from the National Treasury of the Chapel of St John the Baptist), running from 12 November to 3 January at the Temporary Exhibitions Gallery of the Museu de São Roque. In this case, volunteers will help to welcome and assist visitors.
A second volunteering initiative is being organised for this year’s Wonderland. From 27 November to 3 January, Santa Casa volunteers can help out in the after-sales area for Santos da Casa products, preparing gift envelopes and wrapping.
