Rental Properties

Santa Casa da Misericórdia de Lisboa aims to create conditions for young people to access residential units at more favourable rents, thereby helping to counter the population ageing trend in urban centres and enabling young people who work or study in the municipality of Lisbon to also live there.

Access to the units is made through a prior application process, the procedure for which is set out in the Youth Residential Rental Regulations. These regulations define the general criteria for young people's access to renting units owned by the institution, namely age, employment and/or academic status, as well as the contractual terms of the lease, the discount applied to the rent, and the duration of the lease.
